Job Description

Team & Role:

This role is part of the Content Operations & Experiences team (COE), which empowers the Digital Content & Design (DCD) organization with tools and resources to create and manage content experiences. As a member of the Analytics team within COE, you will provide comprehensive analytics to make data-driven decisions which help build delightful and trusted content experiences that make our customers successful. You will work closely with product content management, content architects, writers, editors, product development, design, user research, program management, product content engineering and other partners to develop and deliver analytics products and insights.

With a combination of exceptional analytical skills, an insatiable curiosity, and an entrepreneurial “get stuff done” mindset, you’ll help us better understand our users, customers, partners, and products, and drive important changes that will shape the future of ServiceNow.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Design and develop advanced data analytics products, including dashboards, visualizations, and datasets, to drive insights for the DCD organization.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver end-to-end dashboard and visualization solutions, ensuring alignment with key business objectives.
  • Drive data storytelling through impactful visualizations and presentation of insights to diverse audiences.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting frameworks, improving the efficiency, accuracy, and automation of monthly, quarterly, and annual business metrics.
  • Proactively identify areas for analytics improvement, automating manual checks and processes for better efficiency.
  • Train the DCD team on leveraging data sources and analytics tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adoption and satisfaction with analytics products.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Must-Have):

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data visualization.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for analytical tasks and database management.
  • Strong expertise in BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to create dynamic dashboards and datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate reporting processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with a focus on data storytelling.
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring teams on analytics tools and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience with SaaS business models, web analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics), or SEO tools.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based analytics and concepts.
  • Knowledge of agile project management workflows.
  • Experience driving adoption of analytics tools and improving user satisfaction.
