Job Description

The Successful candidate will:

  • Manage, mentor and lead a team of managers and globally distributed engineers
  • In this role you get to manage Software Developers, Internationalization Engineers, Localization Engineers, and Localization Quality Engineers – a good understanding of each of these domains is a requirement.
  • Manage various projects and cross-team collaboration efforts
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build visions, strategies and roadmaps with a focus on prioritization
  • Cross-functionally collaborate daily with peers and colleagues as one team and work together with many like-minded product managers, software engineers, internationalization quality engineers to produce high impact and high quality software.
  • Drive internationalization standards and best practises across our development and quality assurance teams
  • Drive efficiencies, quality improvements and workflow optimization across our globalization processes
  • Provide cross-team prioritization and escalation, negotiating across teams and functions to drive customer-focussed outcomes

Qualifications

  • A track record in Engineering Leadership where you have led Managers, developed Managers and managed several engineering teams, ideally across multiple geographies with demanding cross-functional collaboration and a strong product-centric environment.
  • Understanding of the ServiceNow platform, or similar SAAS platforms is an advantage.
  • 15+ years overall experience covering Internationalization, Software Engineering, Content Management, Quality Engineering, expert knowledge of globalization processes and best practices
  • 7+ years industry experience in building software products and managing software development teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in line with the ServiceNow People Pact.
  • Experience with providing hands-on support to teams across a range of internationalization focused disciplines
  • Always works to understands the customer problem to be solved for each deliverable undertaken. Works with the Product Management team to define product features and translate the concept into Software.
  • Enjoys working with software, enterprise tools and building high quality products.
