Job Description

Location: Paris, Madrid or Milan

Region: EMEA South and MESA

The Senior Solution Sales Executive will be responsible for leading the EMEA South market success of ServiceNow’s IT Service Management (ITSM) product suite. Market success will be achieved through leadership of every aspect of the sales lifecycle including but not limited to sales attainment, platform adoption and product utilization, team education and program strategy and execution.

This senior sales position is a high-profile growth opportunity that demands a highly motivated individual with strong leadership ability, entrepreneurial spirit, sales acumen, and superb communication and organisational skills. This leader must be eager to learn, apply existing skillset and adopt new ones to become part of ServiceNow as we seek to become the defining software company of the twenty-first century.

Owning the EMEA South sales quota the Senior Solution Sales Executive will engage through the existing core sales team to drive and generate sales revenue, educate, and strategize both within existing and prospect accounts. This will be achieved by collaborating with all go to market (sales, marketing, partner management, customer outcomes) on territory and account strategy to ensure renewal business is secured and incremental growth opportunities are closed

What you will do in this role:

· Grow the ITSM business through the existing field sales teams through education and enablement, strategy sessions - all based around a collaborative, programmatic approach

· Work cross functionally with other business units and ServiceNow workflows to achieve a ‘better together’ solution for our clients

· Drive end to end sales initiatives focused on specific use cases

· Align with Sales Leadership on ‘must win’ clients and build campaigns and govern activity to ensure attainment

· Work with ServiceNow Competitive Intelligence team to ensure we keep ahead of opportunities, obstacles, challenges

· Champion marketing messaging internally and externally to ensure platform capabilities are fully understood in the selling, partner and customer ecosystems

· Add value through close work with sales teams to accelerate opportunities by meeting directly with customers to provide comprehensive product and industry insight

· Develop, in coordination with Product Management and Product Marketing, key sales and go-to-market strategies and objectives to establish ServiceNow as a leader in ITSM, inclusive of our Professional and Enterprise variants and future capabilities

· Coach & enable account teams with foundational specialty solution area knowledge to effectively identify specialty solution opportunities & help manage the sales cycle

· Develop Partnership with Major Area Sales and Solution Consulting Leaders to help position our IT Service Management solution directly to prospects, customers and at industry events and seminars

· Support the regional ServiceNow partner channels to drive an effective customer experience

· Articulate customer success strategies (and losses) to the field in order to streamline and standardize ITSM solution presentations and value proposition.

· Be the ‘go to’ person for all things ITSM sales as the trusted advisor to our community of employees and customers


In order to be successful, candidates will normally have:

  • Proven experience or equivalent of solution and service based sales experience within an IT Service Management, ITIL based, or Omni Channel solution provider or related high technology business environment.
  • A deep understanding of IT Service Management, ITIL and related business processes
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to win in the market against stiff competition.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms via written and oral media.
  • Ability to forge strong business relationships and connect with both C-level execs at customers as well as with individuals in ServiceNow internal and external eco-system
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organisation
  • Pitch perfect communication and presenting skills, with fluency in English and local language being essential
