Job Description

Serpa Packaging Solutions is seeking an Accountant to join our Accounting team! As a Staff Accountant, you'll be tasked with performing a variety of Accounting functions within a manufacturing setting, including Accountants Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Payroll, Reconciliation, Financial statement preparations, and assisting in month/year end closings. You'll also partner directly with our Accounting team members to learn the processes of each Accounting function assigned. 

This is an opportunity for a driven Accounting leader to become a part of a growing, industry-leading company of high-quality packaging automation systems manufactured in California. Qualifications

Preferred Experience / Qualifications

  • Work experience in Accounting, and/or Education in Accounting. 
  • GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Cost Accounting 
  • Inventory Management
  • Reconciliation
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • Highly competent win Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Access & Outlook)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
