An upscale lodge in Roma, Maseru, Lesotho, is looking for a dynamic and skilled Business Development Manager to oversee the growth and daily operations of its guesthouse and restaurant. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with hospitality experience, capable of managing staff, enhancing guest satisfaction, and expanding the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of guesthouse operations, including restaurant management.
• Act as the primary manager and establishment overseer in the absence of the owners.
• Lead and manage the staff and department heads to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Implement effective marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and attract new clientele.
• Drive business growth through new client acquisition and market segmentation.
• Focus on revenue growth management and optimize cost and operating expenses.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Effectively manage stakeholder relations to support the lodge's business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of business development or management experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing and growth strategies.
• Experience in customer relationship and stakeholder management.

This appointment is aligned with a remuneration package to suit the role and will be negotiated taking into account the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
