  • Whip up delicious dishes that'll make our residents' taste buds dance with joy! You'll be the wizard of flavors, catering to preferences and dietary needs while following food safety regulations like a pro.
  • Show off your food safety superpowers by demonstrating proper handling techniques. Remember, with great cooking comes great responsibility!
  • Keep your culinary kingdom spotless! Maintain a squeaky-clean work area that would make even the pickiest health inspector proud.
  • Master the art of culinary alchemy through various cooking methods. Whether you're grilling, sautéing, broiling, roasting, or braising, you'll turn ordinary ingredients into extraordinary feasts!
  • Channel your inner recipe detective, following instructions with the precision of a master sleuth while keeping up with the fast-paced kitchen action. Time is of the essence, so put on your chef's hat and let's get cooking!

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of cooking experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and food allergies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity in food presentation and plating
