Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for the receipt, storage, and issue of raw materials, as well as the general maintenance and appearance of the Raw Materials Warehouse. These duties are managed and performed as directed by the specific requirements of the Customer, within approval guidelines and procedures established by the Production Control Manager.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Receives incoming raw materials
- Ensures inventory accuracy of count, location, and lot control
- Eliminates write-offs due to loss, damage, and discrepant counts
- Operates forklifts
- Supports Quality Assurance functions in the warehouse
- Maintains warehouse function and appearance
- Follows all safety guidelines established by the company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated, dependable individual who exhibits a strong attention to detail and arrives on time for start of shift
- Ability to adhere to a flexible and demanding work schedule. Including scheduled overtime and weekend shift availability.
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and organised Material Handler to support our growing team. The successful candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing environment, practical health and safety knowledge, and experience operating material handling equipment. You will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and tracking of materials, helping to ensure production runs efficiently and effectively.
You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and resolve basic operational issues. A full clean driving licence is required, along with a commitment to our core values of Quality, Respect, Honesty and Working Together.

Contract Information: Monday - Friday 40hrs
