Job Description
Position
The Director, Human Resources, will see HR as a platform to build and contribute to a growing
organization. This modern leader will showcase the value of HR while building a stronger and
more capable organization…an organization that’s prepared for what comes next.
As a trusted advisor who will help to translate business strategy into human capability, this
Director will report to the VP/General Manager of a complex, multi-location manufacturing
organization, and will shape the workforce of the future by aligning talent, leadership, and
culture with the company’s evolving ambitions. This Director will build and execute programs
and processes to achieve these goals.
This role calls for a forward-thinking HR professional who blends deep business insight with a
modern understanding of workforce analytics, organizational design, and the responsible
application of AI-enabled tools. The Director will inspire leaders and employees, using data driven
insights and human-centered practices to strengthen engagement, enable smarter
decision-making, and build an environment where purpose and performance are recognized.
As a visible hands-on leader, the Director will guide talent strategy, leadership development,
culture and engagement, and labor relations as critical levers that shape how the organization
grows, adapts, and succeeds. This is an opportunity for a modern influential HR leader to help

Key Responsibilities:
This leader will bring everything that’s expected of a strong HR Director in a complex manufacturing environment including, sound judgment, operational rigor, talent expertise, advanced technical thinking, and the ability to ensure that the fundamentals of HR run exceptionally well.

- Translate business strategy into workforce capability by partnering with leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, using data and insights to guide decisions, and ensure the people strategy actively fuels performance and growth.
- Shape how leaders lead, by coaching and equipping them to build high-performing, engaged teams, developing talent intentionally, and creating an environment where trust and accountability coexist.
- Evolve the employee experience across facilities by fostering a culture where engagement, safety, collaboration, and pride in the work reinforce one another and support long-term retention and success.

Qualifications
Professional Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related, with 6+ years of experience in progressively responsible HR leadership positions ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- History of building and executing modern HR strategies and processes that enhance both business and employee experiences.
- Highly collaborative. Skilled at strategy, implementation and project management in partnership with the leadership team.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging modern technology, data, and emerging AI capabilities to advance organizational performance and decision-making.
- Ability to translate analytics into actionable insights, modernize processes through digital tools, and introduce responsible AI or automation solutions that improve efficiency, workforce effectiveness, and business outcomes.
- Experience partnering with leaders to embed data-informed thinking into strategy, operations, and talent decisions.
- Experience influencing and communicating change with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with exempt, non-exempt and unionized employee populations with a proven ability to build differentiated programs for different employee populations, maintaining equity and compliance.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

Additional Information
The expected salary range for this position is $140-170K per year. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
