• Project Management:
• Project time plan development & execution inline of APQP procedures.
• Works closely with the appropriate project managers in maintaining project Gantt charts.
• Cost saving innovative ideas & solutions provider.
• Must have exposure of PPAP procedures & can lead independent projects for PPAP approvals & production handover.
• Should perform Kaizens in parallel to regular projects development tasks.
• NPD inventory Management.
• Product/Process Management:
• Maintains Process control through proper documents updating & upkeeping.
• Performs detailed and accurate analytical evaluations of concepts prior to concept selection and detailing.
• Can perform process design based on lean manufacturing concepts.
• Must have hand on experience of Cycle time study, SWC Charts, Time & Motion studies, Line Balancing.
• Should have hands on exposure in SMED, LEAN & VSM Projects
• Must perform Capacity analysis & Define Manufacturing Standards and Contingency Planning
• Should have knowledge of Ergonomics, Quality improvement & continuous improvement
• Should have knowledge of 5S, process optimization & low-cost automation.
• Initiating Continuous improvements in ensuring minimal operator fatigue through use of new tool & Machinery in production line
• Developing New process concepts for production optimization & Yield improvement, developing guidelines for manufacturing activities sequence on shop floor.
• Machine design & development, trials prove out, installation & production handover expertise
• Should have VAVE exposure and can lead independent VAVE projects.
• Customer Relations: -
• Respond to Requests for Quotes (RFQ's) in a timely manner.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in customer reviews of projects and programs.
• Assist in preparing & presenting concept & mfg design proposals to customers.
• Follow & practice safety and environmental policies.

B.Tech (Mechanical)
