As a Sr. Mechanical Designer at Selmers, you will advise the Project Engineer during the conceptual stage of the project, on the basis of technical calculations and design drawings. Together with the project team you will be responsible for the development of a machine or line of machines, within the time and budget as set in the project planning. It is possible that you will perform testing of the machines designed by you or that you will take part in the commissioning of machines abroad. In this position you will engineer technical designs that are commercially viable, produce both lay-out drawings and detailed drawings and check designs for compliance with standards and specifications.

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in technology or in a mechanical engineering field
• You have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar function in the field of construction of medium and heavy machinery, in addition to the requested training
• Experience in working with Autocad, Inventor and Vault
• You are flexible and have a positive attitude
• You have a good command of the English and Dutch languages in both speech and writing.
