As a project manager, your most important challenge will be: to realize a project within the targets that are set for budget, delivery time and quality, whereby the client shall be the focal point. It will be your aim to translate the client's needs into optimum equipment. To this end you will use your own knowledge and expertise and you will inspire a team of professionals during the creation of equipment up to entire plants. You truly are a director in a hectic environment, who masters the disciplines of risk and time management. You know to maintain a helicopter view when under pressure and to zoom in on details, when necessary. Do you have a hands-on mentality and are you able to manage a large project in a lean manner? Responsibilities

• Coordinating the right resources such as personnel and assets
• Execution and completion of the project within the available budget
• Maintaining a warm client contact
• Delivery of a complete project that is functioning optimally
• Proper reporting on the technical, organizational and financial progress of a project
• Timely (partial) invoicing of the project or additional work that has been executed
• The timely availability of the correct documents for transportation and payments
• The identification of (possible) defects and/or risks and reporting these.

Characteristics of the position

Knowledge

Level of education:                      Bachelor's degree in Electro-technical Engineering (HTS-E),
                                                        Mechanical Engineering (WTB) or Marine Engineering.

Years of experience:                   A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;

Knowledge of languages:         In speech and in writing: English is a must. German/French is a plus.
