Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP of Customer Success as the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for being an expert on all products based out of Sellpoints’ content syndication platform, the intricacies of our robust retail partner network, and our brand customer needs. In this role you will work closely with our account management team, customer success team, and retail team to qualify, sell, and close a steady stream of sales qualified leads. Within this position you will also be responsible for qualifying growth potential and strategic value of incoming leads with the goal of directing customers towards the service level that best fits their needs.

We’re looking for someone to play that critical role in understanding each one of your customers and then collaborating with them to develop the ideal solution for them. Beyond evangelizing our technologies to prospective customers, this role requires fundamental solutions-based selling practices and advanced active listening skills. We’re interested in welcoming self-motivated individuals and team players who are passionate about channel sales, conversion and managing the end-to-end sales cycle.


  • Manage a flow of sales qualified leads while taking ownership of the relationship and sales process from introduction to close.

  • Become a proficient user in Sellpoints’ OMNI platform, completely understand the product delivery cycle, and learn the nuances of our retail partnerships all with the goal of being an expert at setting the right customer expectations pre-sale while being a master of assessing customer growth potential and strategic value.

  • Navigate and develop relationships at all levels of your partners’ organizations including C-suite, marketing, channel, brand and eCommerce managers.

  • Employ your consultative selling framework to understand your customers and strategically develop solutions for their needs using Sellpoints full suite of technology and services.

  • Mastery of outreach practices and a proven ability to orchestrate professional, strategic dialogue over the phone, via email and in-person.

  • Deliver valuable insights and feedback to our product team in an organized, actionable format to facilitate ongoing client-driven product development.

  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Success team and Account Management team to onboard new customers as well as nurture and expand existing non-managed relationships.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Relevant Sales Experience

    • 1-2 years in an inbound sales position

    • Experience in a closing position

    • SDR experience is beneficial

  • Knowledge Base

    • A passion for digital marketing innovation and trends - specifically eCommerce related

    • Fluency with B2B and SaaS business models

  • Cultural DNA

    • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-energy sales culture

    • Unquestioned ethics around doing the right thing for your customers, your co-workers and for the company

    • Experience establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with customers
