What is your job role?

As a Social Media Video Editor for the Saygin Yalcin team you will be in charge of creating and editing viral videos and publishing these videos on social media channels with over 2,5 million followers.

Responsibilities

As a social media video editor for the Saygin Yalcin team your work will include creating and editing content to go viral on social media channels. Your main job will be the editing and shooting part. This will involve creating ideas for videos, organizing the shooting and editing raw clips, adding watermarks, trimming down dull moments, writing and adding subtitles - all to ultimately create high retention throughout the video and help it go VIRAL!

Other areas that you may be involved in include helping with creative video concepts e.g. helping strategize and implement video ideas and collaborating on strategy to dominate new social platforms - e.g. working on YouTube vlogs/shorts/reels etc.

Must haves:

• Enthusiasm around video editing and social media content

• Excellent video editing skills

• Great understanding of the different social media platforms

• High level English and impeccable grammar and punctuation skills.

• Excellent video editing skills using software such as Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere

• Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging, shareable stories

• Experience working to strict deadlines and targets

Desirable but not required

• Previous experience working with social media content

• Driving license
