Job Description

  • Design, develop, and test diagnostic sequences for various ECUs and vehicle platforms.
  • Work with modern automotive diagnostic tools and protocols such as UDS and KWP2000.
  • Analyze ODX data, including service structures, ODX architecture, and request/response communication flows.
  • Analyze CAN logs to identify issues, optimize diagnostic processes, and support troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, and root cause error analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of diagnostic workflows and vehicle systems.
  • Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and HTML technologies.
  • Manage source code and version control activities using Git (commit, push, pull).
  • Support continuous improvement of diagnostic processes and automation solutions.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Java programming.
  • Good knowledge of HTML.
  • Very good understanding of ODX data, including service structures, ODX architecture, and request/response construction.
  • Very good experience in analyzing CAN logs.
  • Good understanding of automotive diagnostic protocols and communication (UDS, KWP2000, etc.).
  • Experience with testing, debugging, and error analysis.
  • Practical experience working with Git (commit, push, pull).
  • Strong communication skills in German at C1 level or higher (mandatory).
  • Experience with ProdisAutomation or PIDT is considered an advantage.
