Job Description
- Define and document CAD standards with Siemens NX, templates, and best practices.
- Develop workflows for CAD (NX) data management within Teamcenter PLM systems.
- Integrate CAD tools NX, CATIAV5 and Multi-CAD with Teamcenter PLM systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct mentoring sessions and create user documentation.
- Review CAD models for accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, IT and Partner Siemens.
- Analyze, identify, and propose improvements to engineering processes adapted to internal customer needs.
- Participate in workshops to capture requirements and user stories.
- Interact with different parts of the engineering organization to ensure applicability of proposed solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant industrial experience with Siemens NX software.
- Proficiency in CAD software’s NX and CATIA V5.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards.
- Good overall knowledge of PLM principles and experience with Teamcenter.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train or mentor others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects).
- Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with aircraft development (an asset).
