Job Title: Civil Inspector – Buildings
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

The Civil Inspector will supervise and inspect building-related construction works on site, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and approved quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect building works including concrete, masonry, finishing, and related structural components
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications
• Witness inspections and testing activities
• Report construction defects, deviations, and non-conformities
• Coordinate with the civil engineering team and contractor representatives
• Support documentation and inspection reporting processes
• Ensure site activities are carried out in line with safety requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of site inspection experience
• Experience in thermal power plant or industrial building construction
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures and field inspection protocols

Preferred Profile

• Prior experience in utility, power, or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of building construction inspection practices
