Job Description

You will function as the central pivot of our engineering ecosystem. You are responsible for navigating the high-stakes intersection of OEM requirements, technical feasibility, and rigorous delivery timelines. You will go beyond mere coordination, providing the architectural and methodological leadership necessary to deliver safety-critical automotive systems.

Executive Responsibilities

  • Strategic Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary, high-level interface with the OEM Product Owner. You will manage complex negotiations regarding scope, roadmap prioritization, and feature trade-offs, ensuring that the technical vision aligns with the client’s commercial milestones.

  • Deliverable Integrity & Quality Governance: Act as the final authority for quality gate transitions. You are responsible for ensuring that all deliverables exceed ASPICE, ISO 26262, or Cyber Security standards, maintaining a "zero-defect" transition from development to production-ready status.

  • Agile Governance & Transformation: Lead the evolution of the Agile framework within the project. Beyond managing Sprints, you will optimize team velocity, manage cross-functional dependencies in a Scaled Agile environment (SAFe), and foster a culture of continuous integration and rapid feedback loops.

  • Risk Mitigation & Technical Steering: Proactively identify systemic risks in the development lifecycle. You will steer the project through critical technical hurdles, ensuring that resource allocation is optimized for high-impact milestones.

Qualifications

  • Senior Industry Tenure: 8–10+ years of experience in automotive project management, specifically within R&D or complex software/systems development.
  • OEM Management: Proven track record as the central pivot managing high-stakes interfaces with major Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Full Lifecycle Ownership: Extensive experience overseeing the entire automotive product lifecycle, from initial concept and SOP (Start of Production) to post-launch maintenance.

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to negotiate scope, trade-offs, and resource allocation directly with senior Product Owners and executive stakeholders.
