EWIS Design Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced EWIS Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge Research & Technology (R&T) projects, including future WING design. You will play a key role in designing electrical connection elements and associated technologies within an aeronautical environment, specifically in the wing domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver design office outputs for R&T projects under the guidance of technical leaders.
• Take ownership of a full work package, from concept to final maturity level.
• Conduct pre-studies, technological comparisons, and state-of-the-art research.
• Prepare simulations, engineering notes, calculation sheets, and risk/functional analyses.
• Create technical specifications and documentation for TRL justification.
• Produce detailed 3D and 2D designs using CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience.
• Select and liaise with manufacturing and test partners, ensuring progress and compliance.
• Validate prototypes and develop test plans, including test rig design if required.
• Compile test reports and contribute to Intellectual Property dossiers when necessary.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong background in Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) design within aerospace.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 and/or 3DExperience CAD tools.
• Knowledge of R&T environments, procedures, and demonstrator development processes.
• Experience in risk analysis, functional analysis, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
