Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) Engineer to lead and support NVH activities across propulsion systems, including conventional and electrified systems. The ideal candidate will ensure NVH assessments are effectively integrated into program designs and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve vehicle NVH targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead NVH activities for propulsion systems (conventional and/or electrified) across all assigned programs.

  • Ensure NVH assessments are conducted at each program gate, engaging release teams, and implementing NVH enablers into final designs.

  • Support NVH integration of propulsion systems into vehicles to meet NVH targets.

  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations for management reviews.

  • Act as a liaison between the Propulsion System and Vehicle organizations regarding NVH attributes at a system level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited university.

  • Fundamental understanding of propulsion and vehicle system function and design.

  • Hands-on automotive experience in propulsion systems NVH, including conventional and hybrid ICE, electric motors, gearboxes, power inverter modules, and driveline components (axles, prop-shafts, transfer cases, etc.).

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated capability in using NVH measurement tools such as LMS Test.Lab, HEAD Acoustics Artemis, Rotec, Mueller BBM, Matlab, and Simulink.

  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and address NVH issues in propulsion systems.

  • Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (FFT) and experience with electronic control modules (ECMs) and CAN communication protocols.
