Job Description

The General Assembly (GA) Feasibility Specialist will be responsible for leading GA manufacturing activities for new model and MCA (Model Change Activity) programs. This role includes providing direction to manufacturing simulation engineers, communicating issues to Product Engineering, proposing alternative solutions, and driving all issues to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing feasibility activities for new and MCA vehicle programs.

  • Develop Design-to-Manufacturing (DTM) proposals to optimize capital expenditure (CapEx).

  • Support future plant loading studies and lead Vertical Integration initiatives for Make/Buy alignment.

  • Develop detailed Process Maps with Pre-Scroll documentation.

  • Ensure feasibility studies are performed in the plant environment.

  • Lead Change Management meetings to align product, process, and tooling requirements.

  • Manage and report on General Assembly KPIs.

  • Ensure DTM and feasibility requirements are implemented in product design.

  • Prepare and present high-visibility weekly updates to Stellantis management.

  • Travel to assembly plants as needed to support vehicle launch phases and resolve feasibility issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field).

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of plant operations.

  • In-depth understanding of General Assembly processes and tooling.

  • Strong knowledge of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Proven ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of management.

  • Exceptional teamwork and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

  • Automotive manufacturing experience.

  • Prior involvement in new model launch or feasibility studies.
