Job Description
Position Description: Product Development Body Exterior Engineer Managing the design and development of vehicle components and develop designs to meet system and vehicle attribute targets. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the selection of suppliers, development of program work plans, and completion of gateway deliverables to maintain program costs and timing. - Lead both the Design and Release of Body Exterior systems across - Ensure robust delivery of Body Exterior systems from concept through to physical prototype builds and final production release. - Own the PD elements of the APQP process and ensure proper communication with special characteristics, not only to lead launch suppliers and plants but to all sites and manufacturing locations. - Deliver design compatibility between all interfacing systems. - Lead engineering processes like BOM sign off, FMEA and quality control plans, design reviews with suppliers, Finance, Purchasing, CAE, Quality, Manufacturing, interface modules and attributes, to support design deliverables.

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or in a related field
