Job Description
A great opportunity to work for this Global rail Company. We are looking for a Railway Test Validation Engineer.
Accountable for:
- Implementing the standard process and related methodologies and tools to ensure Validation efficiency;
- Documentation of commissioning and maintenance of vehicles' rail
- Writing test procedures and test reports;
- Test Execution;
- Ongoing removal of faults and failures of electrical devices
- Ensuring the timely issue of the Validation proof (including proof of lower-level systems and components) and consolidating Validation files;
- Reviewing part of the Sub-System Validation Plan relevant to test at the Train level and accepting (to be included in Train Validation Plan) or rejecting considering other possibilities;
- Managing the Train-level validation activities, creating and maintaining the Validation Plan;
- Managing the Train Validation project team;
- Managing the consolidation of Train Validation commitment and performance in due time for the tender or the project;
- Approving Train System Handover;
- Approving reviewing Train Test Procedures/reports;
- Managing the validation schedule, optimizing the validation sequence in relationship with the train design and configuration maturity and test means availability;
- For Validation scope establishing & organizing Technical Interface with customers, producing Customer Documents and obtaining Customer Approval when necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in the electromechanical field or another related field;
- At least 2 years of rail vehicles system knowledge (system analysis);
- Good to have an electrical habilitation level/ certification;
- Tests organization capability, and knowledge of planning tools;
- Knowledge of Standards & Regulations;
- Knowledge of test & commissioning, test and validation, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of Work Package Management;
- Knowledge of how the connection with the train is done;
- Knowledge of Software/ protocols: LAN, CAN/ CAN BUS, TCP/IP;
- Fluent in English (minimum B2
- Must be available for frequent travel, both within the country and abroad. Travel durations can vary and may be short-term (1 week), medium-term (1 month), or long-term (up to 6 months).
