Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join ourclient´s  team. This role requires hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and inspecting components according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, supporting continuous production flow, and assisting team members across different classification levels.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to assemble and install parts.
  • Set up and operate manual and automated assembly equipment and portable machinery.
  • Perform rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing during or after final assembly.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Identify, report, and investigate errors in parts, tools, or assembly procedures.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g., changing filters, light bulbs, maintaining coolant levels).
  • Assist in training, coaching, and supporting other team members.
  • Document and report discrepancies according to company procedures.
  • Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified.
  • Support continuous product flow by efficiently moving parts and assemblies.
  • Must be able to stand and work for the entire 8-hour shift and work overtime/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • Local candidates strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) and flexible to work other shifts if required.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends per business needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience with assembly operations, functional testing, and quality inspections.
  • Comfortable with manual labor, standing for long periods, and handling tools/machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality control.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in aerospace as assembler
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality assurance processes.
  • Knowledge of Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) practices.
