Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Test Rig Operator to conduct and validate testing activities on advanced test rigs. Your work will be crucial in developing innovative and reliable products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, perform, and validate testing activities.
  • Ensure efficient test execution and validate test results.
  • Minimize installation time and optimize test cycle efficiency in test cells.
  • Produce useful data for engineering and follow up activities in the test facilities to establish relevant KPIs.
  • Self-sufficiently manage own tasks and independently plan work.
  • Self-driven proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing development.
  • Hone skills in home discipline while growing a broader view of the wider TD/BA system.
  • Operate commercial vehicles requiring a Class A CDL.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must have CLASS A CDL
  • 2+  years of relevant experience in a testing environment, preferably within the automotive or heavy-duty vehicle industry.
  • Solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of data acquisition systems.
