Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Production Planner to join our aerospace team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning and scheduling of production and ensuring that the capacity of manufacturing operations aligns with demand. Your primary focus will be on schedule control, part scheduling, and optimizing resources to meet project timelines and production targets.

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of aerospace projects.
  • Monitor production timelines, identify potential bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to mitigate delays.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturing lead times and resource availability.
  • Coordinate the timely availability of parts, materials, and components needed for production.
  • Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to ensure parts are ordered and delivered as needed.
  • Analyze production capacity and demand forecasts to determine resource requirements.
  • Identify capacity constraints and work with production managers to implement solutions.
  • Generate and maintain reports on capacity utilization, part availability, and production schedule adherence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience in capacity planning, scheduling, or production planning, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, material flow, and production scheduling.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, scheduling software, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
  • US Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
