Job Description

  • Remove, install, and replace aircraft engines and accessories.
  • Assist with engine runs and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and document work per manuals and regulations.
  • Support Avionics, Structures, Composites, and other disciplines as needed.
  • Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
  • Return aircraft to service after maintenance, including off-site.
  • Audit your work area and truck monthly.
  • Perform Delegated Inspector (DI) duties as qualified by QA.
  • Follow Bombardier’s General Work Requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • A&P Certificate, 3+ years of aircraft maintenance or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
  • Located or willing to relocate to the West Coast.
  • Experience with turbine engine and corporate/commercial jet maintenance preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting aircraft status.
  • Own basic hand tools and demonstrate tool inventory control.
  • Able to work overtime, unscheduled workdays, and in all weather conditions.
  • Willing to travel with short notice, including assignments up to 30 days.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurable status, and the ability to work independently.
  • Troubleshooting skills, valid passport, and ability to travel internationally.
  • Capable of obtaining SIDA badge and experienced in return to service procedures.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
