Job Description

  • Identify and document business needs
  • Analyse and understand the impacts of the various components of the Segic platform
  • Participate in knowledge-transfer activities with the development team, in order to help the team design and build the proposed solutions 
  • Design the testing strategy and develop test cases, scenarios and decks 
  • Perform tests and analyse the results
  • Support users during acceptance testing
  • Provide second-tier support to Segic clients
  • Conduct user training
  • Keep application documentation up-to-date
  • Perform industry monitoring to stay current with changes in the group insurance market.


  • DEC or bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant education, and a minimum of three years experience in IT
  • Extensive knowledge of the group insurance industry 
  • Strong team worker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English and French
  • Excellent analytical abilities, at ease with numbers, strong logical thinker
  • Ability to produce schematics of processes and ideas; ability to synthesize data
  • High-level Excel and Visio user
  • Experience in writing testing strategies, scenarios and cases and in the preparation of datasets
  • Experience in client relations
  • High capacity for learning and openness to challenges
  • Be able to adapt rapidly to changes
  • Be available to visit clients
