The Partnership Development Manager plays a crucial role in fostering relationships across Australia's healthcare sector. This position is responsible for building strong industry connections with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and companies to ensure that students are prepared for the workforce and that employers find the right candidates. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining partnerships, lead generation, and addressing the specific needs of both students and employers.

What your days might look like

As a Partnerships Manager at Fresh Futures Australia, you will focus on building and growing relationships within the healthcare and childcare sectors across Australia. You'll collaborate with industry partners, including educational institutions, healthcare providers, childcare organisations, and other strategic partners. Your role involves identifying partnership opportunities, presenting the value of Fresh Futures, and onboarding partners to our programs. You will manage relationships, develop go-to-market strategies, and work to drive mutual success through referrals and collaborative initiatives.

Job Description

As a Partnerships Manager you’ll:

  • Identify and qualify opportunities by building relationships with key partners in the healthcare and childcare sectors.
  • Recruit and grow new industry partners, developing strategies to place students in work placements, internships, or roles as fresh graduates.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure students are matched with the right opportunities.
  • Develop structured account plans, outlining key activities, milestones, and objectives for successful partner engagement.
  • Collaborate with our Student Placement and Support team to design tailored solutions for partners, ensuring the best fit for student placements or internships.
  • Generate three times the number of qualified opportunities through proactive outreach such as calls, emails, meetings, marketing campaigns, and events.
  • Utilise CRM tools like Salesforce to track and manage opportunities efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or Partner Management.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment, ideally within the education or recruitment sector.
  • Proven relationship-building experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and contacts within the healthcare or childcare industries.
  • Ability to create strong rapport with strategic partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong business development and account management experience.
  • Enthusiasm for building opportunities within the education and work placement sectors.
  • A natural tendency to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Results-driven, with strong initiative and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to decision-makers.
