Company Description

Our company name is Fresh Futures Malaysia and as part of an ambitious project we are developing a search engine for students who need a better way to find and be able to study at schools, colleges and universities either locally or overseas. We want students to be able to apply to the right educational institutions for the right courses and ultimately for the right jobs after they graduate. This job requires you to be able to collect data related to the information students would need to know when applying for different things as well as conduct research on systems or organisations of interest that could be important for us.

We are currently looking to hire business minded individuals who would like to gain relevant work experience that will test their ability to organize data and information 

Important Note:

  • No Bahasa Malaysia spoken, just English (Other languages are a bonus)
  • Minimum internship period we accept is 2 months
  • International students in Malaysia are welcome to apply
  • Under strict MCO measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, you are allowed to work from home or remotely

Job Description

  • Conducting data collection on information such as tuition fees and intake dates from College, University and Language School websites.
  • Putting the data into Excel, Google Sheets or Airtable
  • Doing research on education systems, job markets, and organisations when needed
  • Cross-referencing data
  • Merging data sets from various excel sheets/files
  • Organizing as well as maintaining MS excel sheets/Google Sheets and performing research to better understand the recorded data

Qualifications

  • Preferably from a Business Administration, Marketing or Entrepreneurial oriented major. 
  • Have at least a CGPA of 2.80
  • Able to use Google Drive, Dropbox and Skype
  • Have some proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to organise data or information in neat fashion
  • Good English proficiency
  • Able to communicate problems and solution clearly
  • Some familiarity with foreign/international primary & secondary school curricula is a bonus
