About the Role

The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue for Film Forward.

This role is to develop and expand our portfolio of corporate clients and partners for this ground-breaking, mission-driven corporate learning and development product. The role includes all aspects of relationship building with potential customers and existing customers, and closing deals on a small but mighty team. This role will be working directly with the CEO on Film Forward sales efforts.

Expected Outcomes for the Head of Sales:

  • Meet quarterly Film Forward sales goals

  • Growth Film Forward’s customer portfolio

  • Develop highly engaged relationships with clients and potential clients

Core Activities for the Head of Sales:

  • Manage the full sales cycle to close deals for Film Forward

  • Discover, nurture, and qualify new business opportunities, maintaining a consistent and robust sales funnel

  • Establish trusted executive-level relationships with CDOs, CHROs. and other CXO-level leaders

  • Drive marketing sales strategy to produce lead-generation opportunities

  • Accountable for topline Film Forward sales goals

  • Manage department P&L, controlling expenses

  • Negotiate contracts

  • Establish and strengthen industry relationships

  • Exhibit deep and up-to-date knowledge of the Film Forward to apply and communicate market learnings of new products, features, and enhancements  

  • Regularly report on the sales pipeline and closed deals

  • Participate in team meetings and weigh in on company strategy as needed to support sales

  • Assist with sales marketing as needed

Qualifications

Preferred skills and experience:

  • B2B outside sales success

  • Proven track record of closing enterprise sales

  • Has worked within a growing sales team

  • Excellent communication skills - both written and interpersonal

  • High emotional IQ

  • Experience with accountability to customers, due dates, and team members

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities

  • Growth Mindset

  • Quick learner
