We're recruiting Security Officers to support a large, high-profile client site in Yeovil. These roles are ideal for individuals who value responsibility, professionalism, and delivering excellent customer service while helping to keep people and premises safe and secure.

As a Security Officer, you'll play an important role in protecting people, property, and assets. You'll work in a professional and supportive environment where your reliability, vigilance, and communication skills make a genuine difference every day.

No previous security experience? No problem. We focus on potential, attitude, and commitment rather than industry experience. An SIA Licence is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided from day one, giving you the opportunity to develop valuable skills and build a rewarding career in the security industry.

What you'll be doing:

You’ll help keep people, property and premises safe by:

• Monitoring CCTV, alarms & site access
• Carrying out security patrols
• Supporting staff, visitors & contractors
• Managing incidents & reporting concerns
• Controlling vehicle access & parking
• Issuing visitor passes & managing keys
• Delivering excellent customer service

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Valid SIA Licence (full training and ongoing support provided)
• Eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK, with a minimum 5‑year checkable history
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer‑focused, polite, tactful, and discreet
• Proactive and detail‑oriented, with strong self‑motivation
• Excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance - Must be a British National and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
