🕒 Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Nights)

Join a global leader in defence aerospace technology at its Wimborne facility, specialising in world-class air-to-air refuelling and weapons carriage systems. As a Security Officer, you will provide a professional security service, protecting employees, visitors, property, and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. The Security Officer will ensure compliance with site procedures and customer requirements, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, vigilance, and professionalism. A Security Officer plays a vital role in supporting a safe, secure, and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems.
• Control access, manage keys, visitor passes, and lock/unlock procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, evacuations, fire alarms, and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and handovers.
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, security regulations, and health & safety requirements.
• Remain vigilant, prevent disruption, and protect people, property, and assets.
• Assist with searches, traffic management, parking control, and lost property when required.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

✅ Valid SIA Licence
✅ Minimum 2 years' security experience
✅ Able to obtain BPSS Clearance
✅ Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable work history
✅ British national and UK resident for the past 5 years (site requirement)
✅ Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and varying shift patterns
✅ Strong written and spoken English communication skills
✅ Professional, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure
✅ Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to security duties
