Are you passionate about transforming data into practical business solutions and driving operational efficiency through technology? We are seeking an innovative Data Solutions Specialist to play a key role in improving how business data is captured, structured, and managed across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, you will develop scalable solutions that enhance data quality, support informed decision-making, and ensure information is collected in a consistent, reporting-ready format.
As a Data Solutions Specialist, you will leverage Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, and Excel, to design and deliver intuitive data capture solutions and workflow automations. Your work will help replace manual and fragmented processes, reduce administrative burden, improve data consistency, and create more efficient ways of working across multiple operational functions.

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Develop and maintain structured operational data intake solutions using Power Apps and Dataverse.
- Design and manage SharePoint Lists, Excel trackers, and other data collection tools to support operational workflows.
- Automate manual processes and repetitive tasks using Power Automate.
- Support the intake, assessment, and prioritisation of data management requests from GS&S stakeholders.
- Standardise data collection methods to improve data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Replace manual or fragmented tracking processes with scalable digital solutions.
- Support the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and optimisation of existing Power Platform applications.
- Provide maintenance support for operational Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions where required.
- Ensure business data is captured in an ingestion-ready format that supports reporting, analytics, and downstream systems.
- Document processes, workflows, and automation solutions while continuously identifying opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.

Essential Criteria
- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Excel
- Experience supporting business process automation initiatives.
- Experience designing forms, applications, trackers, or other structured data capture solutions.
- Strong understanding of operational business processes and data workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder requests simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency across Microsoft 365 applications and related data management platforms.
- Experience working with databases or business applications.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum High School Diploma or UK equivalent.
Desirable
- Experience supporting Power BI dashboards, reports, or datasets.
- Familiarity with enterprise data management environments.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-900 or PL-100.
- Experience using Smartsheet, including intake forms, cross-sheet references, and workflow notifications.
- Understanding of physical security or security operations environments.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or experience working with structured datasets.
- Experience supporting data governance, reporting, or analytics initiatives.
