Explore your purpose. To See a Different World!
As a Team Leader, you’ll do more than oversee daily operations — you’ll help create safe, professional, and welcoming environments where people can work with confidence. Your visible leadership and calm, confident approach will reassure clients, employees, and visitors alike, combining excellent customer service with strong operational and people‑management skills. This role has a clear focus on client satisfaction, professionalism, and maintaining high standards across high‑profile sites.
Whether you’re coordinating site activity, supporting and guiding frontline teams, managing reception and access control, or stepping in to maintain service continuity during absences or peak demand, the Team Leader is a trusted and dependable presence on site. Every day brings new interactions, challenges, and opportunities to positively influence both people and performance.
This isn’t just another role. It’s an opportunity to step into a dynamic Team Leader position where flexibility, integrity, and vigilance are genuinely valued. You’ll operate across multiple elements of the security and site‑operations function, adapting quickly to different locations, teams, and client expectations. No two days are the same, and your leadership, professionalism, and commitment will play a key role in maintaining safe, secure, and customer‑focused workplaces.
Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Lead, motivate, and support on‑site teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality service in line with established standards and procedures.
- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring staff are deployed effectively and tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives, building positive working relationships and addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor performance and conduct regular team briefings, providing clear direction, feedback, and guidance to maintain operational excellence.
- Ensure all security and site‑based procedures are followed, including access control, patrols, and incident response protocols.
- Support and coordinate cover for absences, sickness, and short‑notice requirements to maintain service continuity.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and support ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Accurately complete and review reports, logs, and handover documentation, ensuring clear communication across shifts.
- Handle incidents, escalation, and conflict situations calmly and professionally, taking appropriate action in line with procedures.
- Promote a positive, professional working environment that reflects organisational values of integrity, vigilance, and reliability.
Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. If you meet the minimum requirements and believe you’ve got what it takes to succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
