We are seeking a Female Security Officer to join our amazing team in Edinburgh. This is the perfect career changer, to delve into a role where potential is actually seen, your voice is valued and your contribution makes a difference every day. In the role of Female Security Officer, you don’t need security experience to shine here. We’re looking for females ready for a fresh start—

If you’ve worked as a Retail Assistant, Receptionist, Healthcare Assistant, Waitress (just to name a few), or in any customer‑facing role, you already have the foundations for a rewarding career in security. We’ll help you build the rest.

As our new Female Security Officer undergoing out comprehensive training, you will bring transferable skills from your previous roles or experience and pull them through to the Security industry.  We see the need for flexibility when you need it, and opportunities for personal development – Our people are really our most powerful asset and make our business thrive.

For genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are looking to appoint a Female only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010, Part 1, Schedule 9)

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Active Patrols: Regularly patrol designated areas your vigilance will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone.
• Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed searches, following our comprehensive company policies and procedures. Your meticulous attention to detail will help keep our restricted areas safe.
• Detailed Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork related to security incidents and observations
• Effective Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and various external authorities to report incidents and coordinate responses to security issues
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism and courtesy

What we’re looking for:

• If you already hold a valid SIA licence, that is great. But don’t worry if not because we will take you through the training to achieve this
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year history including education and/or employment
