Job Description

Present across the country, Protectas has several sites used by business users that required assistance on a remote way or onsite sometimes. As member of the Services Management Office, you will join a small Service Desk team that is in charge of that assistance. If most of time support is performed remotely, big and medium sites required regular onsite presence.

As Service Desk Specialist you will:

  • Support user incidents and service requests in our ITSM tool
  • Advise users about IT processes and technical solutions
  • Support onsite IT systems
  • Plan onsite tasks
  • Deploy and setup computers + manage hardware life cycle
  • Keep IT assets information up to date
  • Propose actions to improve our processes and workplaces user experience
  • Manage Windows OS life cycle and patching
  • Manage printers
  • Manage or be involved in country or group projects to modernize workplaces

Qualifications

Skills required:

  • CFC, ES or equivalent diploma in IT
  • 5 years experience in helpdesk or IT support
  • fluent in English, French and German
  • Experience of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An active / empathic listener
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage own time effectively and to be prompt and punctual
  • Experience of working effectively within a team and collaborating with others to achieve a goal
  • Demonstrable ability to think around issues and look at the wider picture in order to provide solutions through a variety of problem-solving techniques
  • Experience of developing professional and effective working relationships with customers and key stakeholders  
  • Drive, self-motivation and ability to work under own initiative
