Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Account Manager to be responsible for growing and managing our most important clients. This person should have a proven track record of managing accounts and consulting on software solutions. The Account Manager will work with our sales team to increase penetration in existing accounts and grow overall revenue.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Build relationships with new potential clients

  • Research companies, write proposals 

  •  Drive sales team to push opportunities through HubSpot pipeline (qualify, create estimates, SOW’s

  •  Close Deals!

Other Ongoing Responsibilities

  • Generate referrals and expand the Seamgen business network locally and nationally

  •  Identify and implement strategic partnerships that ultimately lead to more revenue and 

  • opportunities

  •  Participate in internal and external meetings with the Sales Team to learn Seamgen’s 

  • business 

  • Build and maintain relationships with team members and clients

Daily Expectations

  • Work in the Seamgen office and/or remotely as needed

  • Work directly with the VP of Customer Success on pipeline activity, deal flow, and upcoming opportunities

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of custom software design and development and/or modern software technologies
  • Experienced with Business Development sales process and consultative selling strategies such as Solution selling, and Target Account selling

  • Experience with HubSpot, G-Suite, and other modern technologies.

  • Experienced defining client requirements, developing capture strategy, and building client relationships to address their business objectives

  • Experience presenting ideas and solutions to key decision makers, both internally and externally

  • Applicant MUST be a strategic thinker and problem solver during the sales process

  • Ability to travel both locally and nationally

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.

  • 5 + years experience in a business development or account management role with at least 2 years selling software services (agency experience is a plus)
