We are looking for a Project Operations Manager to lead a series of operational improvement initiatives across our supply chain and warehouse operations.
Job Description
Reporting to the Operations & Logistics Director, this role will lead projects designed to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory management, and operational workflows.
You will work closely with warehouse operations, sales operations, and technology teams to implement process improvements and systems enhancements that deliver measurable operational improvements.
This is a hands-on project role where you will spend time both in the office and working directly with operational teams on the warehouse floor.
Key Projects You Will Lead
Warehouse Optimisation
• Implement freight manifest improvements to optimise outbound logistics
• Improve warehouse pick path efficiency to reduce order fulfilment times
• Conduct back stock analysis and optimise storage configuration
• Redesign racking layouts to improve storage utilisation and operational flow
• Implement item velocity storage strategies to improve picking efficiency
• Develop improved stocking workflows and operational SOPs
Operations & Systems Improvements
• Identify and implement improvements within inventory systems (WMS / ERP)
• Improve sales order transaction workflows across operational systems
• Analyse sales program operational impacts and implement workflow improvements
• Improve backorder management processes and protocols
What You Will Be Responsible For
• Leading the planning and execution of operational improvement projects
• Working with cross-functional teams to identify process failures and opportunities for improvement
• Prioritising optimisation initiatives in partnership with the Global Operations Leader
• Supporting ERP and WMS improvements that deliver operational efficiency and cost savings
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with operational objectives
• Establishing project governance and reporting for leadership stakeholders
Qualifications
You are a practical problem-solver who enjoys improving how operations work. You are comfortable working across different time zones.
You bring experience delivering projects in warehouse, logistics, or operational environments and are comfortable working directly with operational teams to implement improvements.
You will likely have:
• Experience delivering capital improvement or operational optimisation projects
• Experience working within warehouse or supply chain operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• A hands-on approach and comfort working in operational environments
• The ability to influence stakeholders and drive operational improvements
