We are now looking for a Customer Service & Accounting Officer ) to join our EMEA Operations team in Bielefeld.
About the Role
In this role, you will support our B2B customer base in Germany and Switzerland while providing day-to-day accounting, administrative, and financial support across Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). You will work closely with our Operations Director – EMEA, 3PL partners, retailers, and our global Finance Team to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Do
Customer Service
- Provide responsive, solution-oriented support to B2B customers.
- Manage order processing and coordinate with 3PL partners for smooth fulfilment.
- Handle returns, claims, and after-sales enquiries in line with internal guidelines.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational projects.
Accounting & Administration
- Lead AP and AR tasks, including invoicing, collections, cash application, supplier payments and reconciliations.
- Complete monthly GL reconciliations with external tax accountants and our Finance Business Partner (EMEA).
- Maintain accurate debtor and creditor records, including credit checks and limit setup.
- Prepare regular AP/AR reports and short-term cash receipt forecasts.
- Support month-end close including rebate accruals.

Qualifications
What You Bring
- Completed commercial training (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Steuerfachangestellte/r) or a degree in Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, accounting, or similar fields.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage.
- Strong Excel skills and an organised, solution-focused working style.
