Job Description

Scranton Counseling Center, the area's largest, comprehensive behavioral health provider has openings for Masters Level Mental Health Professionals interested in working with children, adolescents and families.

Current opportunities are available in our Family Based Program, working as part of a collaborative two person team providing intensive individual and family therapy, as well as crisis stabilization for children/adolescents who may be at risk of out of home placement. Teams work with a very small number of individuals/families, primarily in the family home setting, or elsewhere in the community.

All staff participate in ongoing, highly regarded family therapy training/supervision provided by the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center, the national leader in family therapy service and training.

Qualifications

Candidates Must possess a minimum of a Masters Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a directly related field, AND a minimum of two years direct care experience with children,adolescents and/or families. Individuals without this education/experience cannot be considered.

Positions require a valid Pa. Drivers License, Pa. Act 33 Child Abuse, Pa Act 34 Criminal Records, and FBI Criminal Background Check clearances.
