We are currently seeking Senior Piping Engineer to join our team based in Zoetermeer

About the Job

As a Senior Piping Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily on FEED, Design and Detail Engineering activities/projects.  We offer you not only a job, but an inspiring journey in a truly global environment where you team up to break boundaries thanks to the innovation, creativity, resilience and team spirit expressed by our people. 

Your main responsibilities includes but not limited to;

1. Technical management of the piping personnel under his responsibilities. 
2. Provide guidance to all team members with proper work distribution.
3. Coordination activities with specialists’ engineers like stress and material leads.
4. Ensure implementation of project specifications, procedures, design requirements etc. 
5. Coordination with other disciplines.
6. Participate in meetings and assist in technical matters with clients / vendors and contractors.
7. 3D Modelling in S3D / E3D, Support modeling, Piping studies of Column, exchanger and Pump, compressor, Review of Vendor drawings, Checking of Isometrics, preparation of SPM Data sheet.
8. Participation during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, Hazop, lesson learned workshops, constructability review and Design/model review meetings.
9. Organize periodic internal 3D model reviews and assign job responsibilities to designers during this period.
    

Regarding working hours, the standard full-time workweek is typically 36 to 40 hours, spread over 5 days. In technical and engineering fields, we offer flexible working arrangements. Overtime is generally compensated either with additional pay or time off in lieu

The average salary for a Senior Engineer typically ranges between €75,000 to €100,000 depending on specialised expertise and years experience in leadership roles. 

About You 

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering 
• Extensive expertise in piping Design/Engineering 
• At least 6+ years’ experience in Major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects in the capacity of Lead or Area Lead Engineer
• Should have extensive knowledge and experience in developing Plot Plans, piping layouts, pipe routing study etc. of Oil and Gas, offshore and onshore projects
• Should have experience in handing process units in 3D environment using E3D, SP3D tools
