Company Description
Schréder is an independent provider and a global leader in intelligent outdoor lighting solutions. The company was founded in 1907 and is present in more than 70 countries across five continents. Our engineering heritage means we have been at the forefront of innovation throughout our history. The latest wave of urbanization has made city centers more vital than ever: connectivity is crucial. As experts in Lightability™, we design lighting infrastructure that will play a key role in building smart cities and future communication networks.
Our mission is to deliver an exceptional experience by supporting our customers every step of the way—from design to after-sales service—including lighting, control systems, CCTV, WiFi, EV chargers, and many more smart features. Environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable lighting has always been part of Schréder’s DNA.
We have helped many cities, industries, and sports facilities around the world reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint by switching to LED technology. By integrating our control systems, they achieve even greater energy savings and deliver a more human-centered experience. Our century-long expertise has given us the insight and clarity to help cities transform their public lighting upgrades into the foundation of smart urban ecosystems.
Our systems are open and interoperable, designed to seamlessly interact with sensors and actuators deployed throughout public spaces to meet both current and future needs. We continuously push the boundaries of our technology to enable communities like Valencia (Spain), Bad Hersfeld (Germany), and Queensland (Australia) to better manage their assets, reduce costs, and preserve their identity and environment.
