Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and support of connected lighting, remote management, and Smart City solutions.
With an extensive installed base of remote management systems and growing demand for intelligent solutions, we are seeking a specialist who can provide technical support throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales and implementation to commissioning and post-sales support.
Main Responsibilities
- Configure remote management systems of varying levels of complexity using dedicated software applications.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and partners during the pre-sales phase to identify the most suitable technical solutions.
- Provide technical support during the implementation of remote management and smart lighting projects.
- Install, configure, and demonstrate products and solutions at customer premises.
- Provide post-sales technical support, including: installation and commissioning; diagnosing and resolving issues encountered during implementation; training end users; maintenance and support activities for delivered products and services.
- Participate in project acceptance processes and coordinate the tests required to validate solutions (FAT – Factory Acceptance Test and SAT – Site Acceptance Test).
- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing support of Exedra Genius, Sense One, and other related services.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or Telecommunications.
- Basic knowledge of lighting engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of electronics and telecommunications.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical installations.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and computer networks.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level (upper-intermediate).
- Responsible, autonomous, self-motivated, honest, proactive individual with strong organizational, planning, prioritization, communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Results-oriented with strong commitment to deadlines.
- Experience working with control devices.
- Experience in CAD design and modeling software.
- Experience in coordinating and implementing projects involving remote management systems.
