Job Description
We are currently looking for an individual with an exceptional customer service attitude and basic technical skills to fill a full-time evening position, performing events and light maintenance duties on the site of one of our customers in the Green Hills area.
Work Hours:
- Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am- 7 pm
- Saturdays flexible upon start/end of events (between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm)
- Flexible during summertime
Job Responsibilities:
- Self-perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, removing spider webs, unclogging toilets, bus maintenance (fuel & clean up), etc.
- Establish and complete routine inspections (fire extinguishers, light test, 30 seconds emergency lights, lavatory, plumbings, etc)
- Receive and respond to requests from building occupants and enter data into the work order system
- Point of contact for the custodial crew, cleaning supplies and equipment
- Proactively evaluate potential problems and respond appropriately
- Work with events; helping with setups and responding to customer needs
- Support Athletics, games, setups, etc.
- Work closely with on-site supervisor and campus security (lock-up and turn out lights)
- On-Call weekly rotation with the crew about every 6 to 8 weeks
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience working in similar positions
- Flexibility to accommodate work schedule based on customer needs
- Basic technical experience applicable to facility maintenance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills; related to emails, and ability to learn online work order systems, and basic building management software.
- Must be able to work in a smoke-free campus
- Must be able to pass TBI background check
- Must have a valid driver license

Physical:
- Work will be both indoor and outdoor and require long periods of movement and activity.
- This employment typically requires: climbing, reaching, standing, walking, and grasping, work environments may be noisy and include repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds (on an intermittent basis)
