Job Description

Our MVP is done and dusted. Students around the world are using SchoolApply to enroll in the most relevant university programs abroad. Our next great challenge is creating a revolutionary end-to-end service powered by AI that scales our offerings across any platform or geography.

We need a skilled full stack JavaScript developer with a keen eye for detail to help us build an engaging platform for our users. You'll work closely with our globally distributed engineering and product team. You should strike the right balance of working fast and maintaining quality. You should be user-centered in your approach and know how to turn a designer's vision into a reality. You should be a highly collaborative, smart, and fast-paced problem solver with a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

  • High proficiency in React/React Native/Preact 
  • High proficiency in Node.js 
  • Solid experience using PostCSS and Webpack 
  • Highly skilled in developing rapid prototypes for an agile team 
  • Experience transferring pixel-perfect designs from Zeplin to the web 
  • Strong background in developing responsive mobile-first web apps 
  • Familiar with best practices in deploying projects via Gitlab utilising CI/CD 
  • Any previous experience with GraphQL, RabbitMQ and Postgresql a plus 
  • Experience transitioning web apps to native mobile apps a plus 
  • Fluent English in written and spoken communication a must have

This role is based in London, UK and can be a remote position for a full-time contract. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
