Job Description
Role Overview
The specification engineer is responsible for the end-to-end specification and requirements engineering of steering system components, ensuring technical consistency, completeness and compliance with system and OEM requirements
- Strong background in automotive project coordination / PMO
- Proven experience in requirements engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems (ideally steering systems)
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and documentation quality
- Minimum 5 years of experience
Qualifications
EXPERTISE
- Experience in automotive development (preferred VW)
- Experience in steering development (preferred)
- Project management
- Requirements engineering
- Hardware development – wiring diagram, design and layout, EMV
- Mechanic development – installation space investigation, technical drawings, system design, acoustic, stiffness
- Software development – run time, architecture, trace analysis,
- Verbund management from component view (preferred)
