Job Description

We are seeking energetic and motivated professionals to join our growing marketing team. The Director of Demand Generation/Marketing is responsible for strategy development and execution of inbound and outbound lead generation and lead nurture programs in support of Satmetrix software products.  S/He is responsible for generating leads and revenue through strategic online and offline campaigns. This position will work closely with our Account Executives, Business Development and Content Marketing teams in the development of the company’s overall customer acquisition strategies.

 

S/He is an excellent presenter and creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be extremely well-organized and analytical with an ability to work well under pressure. S/He will institute and adhere to best practices, be a strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor.

 

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and monitor strategic lead generation and lead nurture campaigns
  • Research and present recommendations for marketing programs including email campaigns, webinars, digital marketing and both web-based and in-person events
  • Manage field marketing calendar and budget
  • Manage events calendar and budget
  • Use marketing automation system to build, send, manage and measure email programs
  • Track and analyze key lead generation metrics to report on campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Perform campaign testing and modify tactics to improve results
  • Work with Account Executive and Business Development teams to track and manage lead flow and increase conversion rates at each stage of marketing and sales engagement
  • Work closely with Content Marketing Director and other internal teams to leverage content for campaign activity
  • Make our customers successful!

Qualifications:

  • A passion for technology
  • Demonstrated track record of success directly managing lead generation and lead nurture programs
  • Clear understanding of ROI analysis and proven analytical ability to track multiple campaigns, analyze results, and recommend changes
  • Strong project management and planning skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously for seamless execution
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with both CRM  and marketing automation systems – HubSpot preferred
  • Passion for driving high-quality leads and outstanding results
  • Willing to work in a hands-on, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Marketing background in CRM, customer service, customer loyalty or professional services
  • Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to communicate effectively with the Satmetrix executive team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
  • Project management skills
  • Previous experience with an annual subscription sales model preferred / SaaS start-up preferred
  • Comfortable juggling several projects at once
  • Great “people skills" and ability to build relationships in person and virtually
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong collaboration acumen and ability to multi-task
  • Understanding of Customer Experience and NPS is a plus

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years lead generation or related experience
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • BS degree in business, marketing, finance or similar concentrations
  • MBA preferred
