Job Description

This is a field-based position with significant travel, both domestic and abroad, CME and Congress activities. As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the area of Denmark.

What you will do

  • Sales Promotion & Strategy Implementation
    • Enhance company awareness, value, effectiveness, and profitability through successful sales promotion activities.
    • Collaborate with regional and national stakeholders, including Country Managers and Key Account Managers, to implement and align strategies and initiatives.
    • Optimize the positioning and visibility of Santen products across pharmacies, optician stores, other sales channels, and online platforms.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, including pediatric ophthalmologists, opticians, and clinic personnel, to position Santen as a preferred partner.
    • Strengthen customer relationships at regional and national levels, working closely with Country Manager and Key Account Managers to drive satisfaction and collaboration opportunities.
  • Market Insights & Strategic Alignment
    • Actively collect customer feedback and market insights to identify opportunities for improving Santen’s products and initiatives.
    • Coordinate with country managers to ensure strategic alignment, considering country-specific needs, regulations, and initiatives.
  • Marketing Material Localization
    • Manage the translation and adaptation of marketing materials in collaboration with the Country Manager to ensure relevance and effectiveness in local markets.
  • Safety & Quality Compliance
    • Collect and report safety-related information (e.g., adverse events) to the Pharmacovigilance Unit and quality-related information (e.g., complaints) to the Quality Assurance department in compliance with current requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in field-sales - we want to make sure you enjoy this type of work. Familiarity with the healthcare system is welcome!
  • Fluency in both English and Danish - with clients we speak in the local language while the corporate communication arrives in your mailbox in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
  • Strong ability to engage and manage relationships - your work is all about meeting on regular basis various healthcare professionals (including opticians, ophthalmic pediatrics, children clinic personnel, and school nurses). Internally you will have a chance to connect with stakeholders on all levels. We hope you like human interactions!
  • Adaptability and Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment. Be eager to learn and set ambitious goals for yourself!
  • Technical Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and CRMs. The ability to make data-driven decisions is welcome!
