PURPOSE OF ROLE
This position supports Research coordination project leads and lead scientists in collaborative activities with universities/institutes/companies, including opportunity hunting, collaboration planning and networking with scientists mainly in Asian region. It may support global activities as well.
Job Description
- Seek new collaborative opportunities with external partners mainly in Asian region as well as globally by collaborating with Research Coordination members.
- In the course of the cooperative works with team members, support to carry out the collaboration management tasks.
- Build a close relationship with scientists mainly in Asian region, capture UMN in the region, and provide feedback with team members.
Qualifications
- PhD, MBA or equivalent credentials with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Academia or industry R&D required.
- Understanding of general science
- Some work experience in pharma industries preferred.
- Business administration and negotiation skills need to be developed.
- Willingness to connect people with multiple cultural and technical background.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English required, and Chinese skill preferred.
- Needs to work with cross-functional members without hesitation.
- Flexible mindset to work with colleagues to tackle with challenging tasks
- Attention to detail and quality focused with basic technical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills including excel, Word, PowerPoint and programming including AI etc.
- Willingness to travel locally or internationally.
