Job Description

  • Execute Santen's development and delivery of EMEA HTA, pricing and reimbursement strategies and processes.
  • Responsible for acting as the EMEA Market Access Brand Lead
  • Support the development and execution of the company's therapeutic area strategies
  • Provide strategic advice to EMEA senior management
  • Support the preparation and manage the implementation of comprehensive market access plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation as part of the EMEA HTA strategy team in preparation for new product launches.
  • Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with external customers
  • Establish new reimbursement pathways in collaboration with countries

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in economics or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in the healthcare industry with a successful track record in market access and pricing
  • Breakthrough product launch experience
  • Negotiation skills, particularly with external parties such as governments, payers or healthcare professionals
  • In-depth knowledge of European pricing mechanisms and regulations (e.g. IRP interdependencies)
  • Analytical & strategic thinking and strong affinity with data/numbers
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent English & German language skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and across organisational units
